About Judith
Based in New England, Judith Podell creates abstract art that is as eccentric, playful and bold as she is. Her painting process is heavily influenced by her childhood in New York City and the beauty of the rural landscape where she now makes her home. Her art is a direct line to her heart, and she enjoys seeing people connect with her art as every painting contains a piece of her.
Outside of her art, Judith is passionate about creating a vibrant community and after 5 years she has recently stepped down from leading a non-profit called The Town Center Project in her Connecticut hometown. In additon to her painting, she used her isolation during COVID to write Monkeyface: A Memoir. Published shortly by Brook Hollow Press.
